Job summary

The Corporate Institute invites an experienced Head – Exchange – Operations to lead liquidity across partner exchanges, hot and cold wallets, and ensure a swift, reliable trading experience on our platforms.

You will collaborate with Marketing and Technology to manage asset listings, develop a risk management framework for leveraged products, and implement new trading rules. A strong focus on customer onboarding, reporting, and market integrity will be essential.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or above with operational background preferably from financial services.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 2 years of people management.
• Sound knowledge of equities and derivative products; blockchain/DeFi knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and maintain liquidity across partner exchanges, wallets, and platforms.
• Manage Listing/Delisting processes for digital assets with Marketing/Tech teams.
• Develop risk management framework for trading platforms including leveraged products.
• Define and implement trading rules across markets.
• Build end-to-end double-entry bookkeeping for accounting.

Job Description

• Asses and Maintain the required digital assets liquidity across the Partner exchanges, Hot wallets and cold wallets
• Work together with the Marketing and Technology teams to manage and optimize the Listing/Delisting process of Digital assets
• Develop and operationalize the risk management framework for trading platforms including leveraged products like margin and derivatives
• Develop and operationalize trading rules across markets
• Build end to end double entry book-keeping system for accounting
• Improve the overall trader experience by regularly auditing exchange system performance
• Liaise with operation teams to provide customer support, client onboarding and other operation related matters and serve as the lead point of contact for all key customer account management matters
• Manage the reporting and MIS with regularly presented analyses including dashboards and other exchange related metrics to the senior management
• Run and provide oversight of the exchange/marketplace to ensure market integrity and that the venue is operating in an orderly fashion
• Work with technology teams to implement new products, new regulatory requirements and change policies via formalizing of processes flow, KPI update and training
• Develop strong relationships with market makers, key accounts, customer stakeholders and institutional customers
• Manage AML and risk effectively by ensuring timely and conduct precise escalation and handling/monitoring of issues including identification of root cause and coming up with resolutions

Qualifications

• Masters degree or above with operational background preferably gained from the financial services industry
• 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 2 years of people management experience
• Possess sound knowledge and understanding in equities & derivative products
• Understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrency and DeFi concepts will be an added advantage
• Demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude with a passion in the provision of excellent trader experience
• Be able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment
