Acuity Analytics, the trading name of Acuity Knowledge Partners, is seeking intelligent, independent analysts to join our Fundamental Credit Research team in covering Banking and Insurance issuers. The analyst will deliver issuer ratings and recommendations through detailed fundamental reviews and initiate/maintain coverage with robust models.

They will prepare investment summary reports and provide actionable commentary to onshore investment managers, with strong daily interaction.

Qualifikationen

• Subject matter expertise in Banking and Insurance.

• Experience in interpreting issuer credit events and earnings.
• Strong written and verbal communication for investment commentary.
• Experience coordinating with investor relations and clients is a plus.

We are seeking intelligent,independent, and self-motivated individuals to be part of our FundamentalCredit Research team –one of the fastest growing vertical of the company.

The candidate should have asubject matter expertise in covering the Banking and Insurance sector; anexperience in covering sovereign and supranational issuers would be an addedadvantage. The analyst would be responsible for providing issuerrating/recommendation on the issuers under her/his portfolio. This would beachieved through detailed fundamental review, by initiating and maintainingcoverage on issuers through detailed models and preparing the investmentsummary report. The candidate should demonstrate ability to think on feet,adapt to situation and provide actionable investment commentary and opinionon the issuers.

The candidate should haveexcellent verbal and written communication skill as there will be a dailyinteraction with the on-shore investment managers.

The individual will be partof the Fixed Income team based out of Bangalore. The team covers a widevariety of fixed income instrument issuers spanning across global, sectorsand asses classes.

Key responsibilities

The primary responsibilitiesinclude:

• Initiatingcoverage on issuers by building detailed credit specific models and initiation reports
• Preparingopinionated research piece on key events, tracking quarterly earnings oncompanies under coverage
• Liaisewith investor relations to seek responses and understand key issues
• Responsiblefor client interaction and managing client expectations
• Timelyupdation of sector dashboards

Core Skills Required

• Subjectmatter expertise in Banking and Insurance
• Goodverbal and written communication skills
• Abilityto provide actionable commentary and opinion on key events, issuers, ratingrecommendations
• Understandingof the capital structure of bank and instrument tiering
• Education:MBA (Finance), CFA and FRM is an added advantage
• Jobrequires extremely high level of attention to detail, meticulousness andaccountability
