Job summary

Acuity Analytics is seeking a Credit Research professional to join our Fundamental Credit Research team in India. The role focuses on banks and insurance issuers, delivering issuer ratings and insightful research through analytical models and investment summaries.

You will interact daily with onshore investment managers while building coverage across a broad fixed income landscape from our Bangalore-based team. MBA/ CFA/ FRM credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Subject matter expertise in Banking and Insurance.

• Understanding of capital structure of banks and instrument tiering.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

We are seeking intelligent, independent, and self-motivated individuals to be part of our Fundamental Credit Research team -one of the fastest growing vertical of the company. The candidate should have a subject matter expertise in covering the Banking and Insurance sector; an experience in covering sovereign and supranational issuers would be an added advantage. The analyst would be responsible for providing issuer rating/recommendation on the issuers under her/his portfolio. This would be achieved through detailed fundamental review, by initiating and maintaining coverage on issuers through detailed models and preparing the investment summary report. The candidate should demonstrate ability to think on feet, adapt to situation and provide actionable investment commentary and opinion on the issuers. The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skill as there will be a daily interaction with the on-shore investment managers. The individual will be part of the Fixed Income team based out of Bangalore. The team covers a wide variety of fixed income instrument issuers spanning across global, sectors and asses classes.
