Job summary

Acuity Analytics in India is seeking a Credit Research Analyst to initiate coverage on issuers by building detailed credit models and initiation reports, and to prepare opinionated research on key events while tracking quarterly earnings. The role requires liaison with investor relations, managing client expectations, and delivering timely sector dashboards.

You will cover Banking and Insurance issuers, provide issuer ratings and investment commentary, and interact daily with on-shore investment

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking intelligent, independent, and self-motivated individuals to be part of our Fundamental Credit Research team one of the fastest growing vertical of the company.

The candidate should have a subject matter expertise in covering the Banking and Insurance sector; an experience in covering sovereign and supranational issuers would be an added advantage. The analyst would be responsible for providing issuer rating/recommendation on the issuers under her/his portfolio. This would be achieved through detailed fundamental review, by initiating and maintaining coverage on issuers through detailed models and preparing the investment summary report. The candidate should demonstrate ability to think on feet, adapt to situation and provide actionable investment commentary and opinion on the issuers.

The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skill as there will be a daily interaction with the on-shore investment managers.

The individual will be part of the Fixed Income team based out of Bangalore. The team covers a wide variety of fixed income instrument issuers spanning across global, sectors and asses classes.
