The candidate should have 5–10 years of experience in SME or large corporate credit underwriting, strong analytical and leadership skills, and qualifications such as CA or MBA in Finance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Credit Underwriting (SME or Large Corporate segment)
• Strong experience in credit appraisal, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring
• Leadership and team management skills

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs) for SME clients
• Conduct detailed credit risk assessment and underwriting decisions within delegated authority
• Guide and mentor junior analysts on financial analysis and credit evaluation
• Coordinate with business teams to structure proposals in line with risk policies
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals
• Ensure compliance with sanction terms, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
• Review monthly/quarterly portfolio monitoring reports and highlight key risks
• Handle escalations related to credit and risk assessments and provide resolution
• Conduct client visits and oversee preparation of inspection reports

About the Role:
