Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Credit Underwriting (SME or Large Corporate).
• Strong experience in credit appraisal, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring.
• CA or MBA (Finance) preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs) for SME clients.
• Conduct detailed credit risk assessment and underwriting within delegated authority.
• Guide and mentor junior analysts on financial analysis and credit evaluation.
• Coordinate with business teams to structure proposals in line with risk policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals.
• Ensure compliance with sanction terms, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Review monthly/quarterly portfolio monitoring reports and highlight risks.
• Handle escalations related to credit and risk assessments and provide resolutions.
• Conduct client visits and oversee preparation of inspection reports.

About the Role:
