Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in credit management, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end credit assessment and approval process for various loan products, including retail and business loans.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis of loan applications, including evaluating creditworthiness, collateral, and repayment capacity.
• Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures in line with corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and manage the credit portfolio, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of credit officers, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to achieve business targets while maintaining credit quality.
• Prepare and present credit reports and analyses to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external credit-related regulations and audits.
• Handle customer queries and complaints related to credit decisions and processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in credit management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Proven experience in credit assessment, risk analysis, and portfolio management.

• Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and credit analysis tools.
• Knowledge of local market dynamics and regulatory environment in Bhimavaram and surrounding areas is highly desirable.
