Job summary

Chola in India seeks a Loan Processing Assistant to help collect and verify customer documents for loan processing, perform preliminary checks on applications, and support credit officers in profile analysis and data validation.

You will coordinate with customers for pending documents, maintain accurate records, assist in preparing credit appraisal notes, update customer information in internal systems, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Assist in collecting and verifying customer documents required for loan processing.
• Conduct preliminary checks on loan applications and ensure completeness of documentation.
• Support credit officers in customer profile analysis and data validation.
• Coordinate with customers for pending documents and clarification requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of loan applications and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing credit appraisal notes and reports.
• Update and manage customer information in internal systems.
• Support branch credit teams in loan disbursement and post-disbursement documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
