Job summary

People Media Factory in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Creature Animation Supervisor/Lead to guide a team of animators on feature films and cinematic projects. This hands-on leadership role delivers world-class creature performances while mentoring others.

You will lead sequences from reference to final polish, craft believable animal, monster, and fantasy poses, review shots, and collaborate with Directors, VFX Supervisors, Rigging, FX, Lighting, and Compositing teams.

Qualifications

• 7-12+ years of experience in feature film or VFX animation.
• 3-5+ years specializing in creature or animal animation.
• Prior Lead or Supervisor experience preferred.
• Expert understanding of anatomy, locomotion, body mechanics, weight, balance, muscle movement, and creature performance.
• Strong experience animating quadrupeds, bipeds, birds, reptiles, and fantasy creatures.
• Excellent shot planning, blocking, staging, timing, and cinematic camera awareness.
• Knowledge of IK/FK workflows, animation rigs, constraints, and troubleshooting.

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Maya; Blender experience is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of IK/FK workflows, animation rigs, constraints, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Houdini, Motion Capture, or AI-assisted animation is a plus.
