Crane Electrician / Electronic Engineer, KSA
Join our team in KSA as a Crane Electrician / Electronic Engineer. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic systems on various crane types, including overhead, gantry, and mobile cranes. Responsibilities include installing and upgrading electrical components, ensuring safety and operational standards are met, and collaborating with mechanical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components in cranes and lifting equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical systems, PLCs, sensors, and control panels.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
- Calibrate electronic devices and crane safety systems.
- Collaborate during crane installation or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes and standards.
- Document maintenance and system modifications accurately.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with crane electrical/electronic systems in industrial or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and industrial automation.
- Ability to read technical documents and electrical drawings.
- Fault-finding and root cause analysis skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in industrial environments and shifts.
- Knowledge of IEC/NEC codes and safety regulations is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in crane maintenance or electrical safety (e.g., OSHA).
- Experience in GCC or heavy industrial sectors.
- Arabic language skills are advantageous.
