Job summary

Leadec is seeking an experienced crane technician in India to lead field maintenance of electrical and mechanical crane systems. The role includes hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and PM planning for cranes up to 35 tons, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will supervise a team of 10, coordinate tasks, document inspections, and maintain clear communication with customers, ensuring responsive service during breakdowns and PM activities.

Qualifications

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Hands-on maintenance: 810 years of crane maintenance experience in the electrical stream.
• Electrical Knowledge : Skilled in electrical related issues like wiring trouble shooting, Current collector settings and repl
• Mechanical knowledge: Skilled in brake settings, wire rope and guide replacement, and mechanical adjustments.
• Team leadership: Supervise a team of 10 members, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Height work: Capable of working at maximum heights up to 35 meters.
• Preventive maintenance: Plan and execute PM activities to minimize breakdowns.
• Breakdown handling: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical/mechanical failures promptly.
• VFD programming: Expertise in Yaskawa & ABB VFD programming.
• Safety compliance: Ensure adherence to crane safety norms, sensor connections, alarm systems, and limit switches.
• Spare parts management: Identify required spares and inform for arrangement
• Documentation: Maintain records of inspections, PM schedules, breakdown reports, and compliance.
• Customer communication: Provide clear updates and maintain professional interaction with customers.
• Flexibility: Willingness to stay extra hours during breakdowns or PM activities.
