Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Hardware Engineer to plan, design, verify, and test electronic systems across Digital/Analog/RF/Optical domains. You will drive EMIR/PDN analysis, bring-up yields, and package/PCB/system integration for cutting-edge SoCs.

As part of a cross-functional team, you will enhance flows, scripts, and toolchains, while engaging with EDA partners to push innovative CAD solutions. A strong background in EMIR and power integrity is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/related field with 6+ years hardware engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in CS/EE/related field with 5+ years hardware engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in CS/EE/related field with 4+ years hardware engineering or related work experience.
• 6 to 15 years of experience in EM/IR and PDN domain is mandatory for this role.
• Expert user of Synopsys Redhawk SC/ Cadence Voltus power integrity analysis tool and exposure to PNR/STA and extraction industry standard tools and flow.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.
• Develop, support, enhance scripts to postprocess EMIR results to dashboard and summarize actionable results for design team.
• Maintain and release qualified flow releases for large and complex SoCs design implementation and analysis work.
• Maximize design productivity with scripting and tool flow customization.

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

• 6 to 15 years of experience in EM/IR and PDN domain is mandatory for this role
• Expert user of Synopsys Redhawk SC/ Cadence Voltus power integrity analysis tool and have exposure to PNR/STA and extraction industry standard tools and flow
• Support and enhance static IR, dynamic IR, and electromigration flows at the block-level and subsystem levels
• Provide guidance and feedback to PDN analysis engineers on EMIR best practices, rules, and methodologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug EMIR issues and provide solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop, support, enhance scripts that can postprocess EMIR results to dashboard and summarize actionable results for design team
• Maintain and release qualified flow releases for large and complex SoCs design implementation and analysis work.
• Maximize design productivity with strong/efficient python/tcl/perl scripting skills and customization of tool flows
• Qualify EMIR tools with regression management systems and create tests.
• Engage with EDA vendors in providing cutting edge out of box solutions for new features and flows.
• Collaborate with EDA partners to determine/drive optimal and cutting‑edge solutions for effective & efficient CAD solutions
