Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited seeks a Hardware Engineer with 6+ years of EM/IR and PDN experience to lead power integrity analyses for large SoCs. The role requires deep expertise in EM/IR flows, static and dynamic IR, and scripting to automate post-processing of results.

The candidate will work with Synopsys Redhawk SC, Cadence Voltus, and other industry tools, collaborate with EDA vendors, and help release robust CAD flows for high-performance designs.

Qualifications

• 6 to 15 years of experience in EM/IR and PDN domain is mandatory for this role.
• Expert user of Synopsys Redhawk SC/Cadence Voltus power integrity analysis tool and exposure to PNR/STA and extraction industry standard tools and flow.
• Support and enhance static IR, dynamic IR, and electromigration flows at block- and subsystem levels.
• Provide guidance on EMIR best practices, rules, and methodologies.
• Troubleshoot EMIR issues and propose solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, optimize, verify and test electronic systems and PDN/EMIR flows.
• Develop scripts to postprocess EMIR results and summarize actionable data for the design team.
• Collaborate with EDA vendors to explore cutting-edge CAD solutions for EMIR.
• Release qualified flow updates for complex SoC design implementations and analyses.

• Qualify EMIR tools with regression management systems and create tests.
• Engage with EDA vendors in providing cutting edge out of box solutions for new features and flows.
• Collaborate withEDA partnersto determine/drive optimalandcutting-edge solutionsfor effective& efficient CAD solutions
