Job summary

Zensar Technologies seeks a skilled software engineer with 4–7 years of experience in C and C++. The role involves designing implementation specs, deriving algorithms from design docs, and developing robust code in a Linux environment.

You will create unit tests, debug complex issues, review peers' code, and provide production support as needed, while following the project plan and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge in C/C++ and strong understanding of object‑oriented design.
• Good knowledge of GCC, Makefiles, CMake, and build tools.
• Experience with memory management, Linux systems, and GCC toolchain.

• Corba – what is IDL. How does the CORBA protocol works?
• Knowledge of GPP and/or Payments domain is highly preferred.

Good Analytical and Logical skills. Good knowledge of Linux.

Awareness of software engineering processes in design, code, testing etc.

Good CORBA knowledge.

Understanding memory leaks and memory violations (segmentation faults).

Good knowledge of GCC, Makefiles, CMake, and build tools.

Knowledge of memory leak detection tools preferred Valgrind

Good experience with Oracle Advanced Queuing (AQ).

Familiarity with Git or similar tools.

Ability to provide solutions to moderately complex technical problems independently.

Good knowledge and hands on experience in SQL

Experience with compilation, linking, and build processes.

Ability to work under less supervision

Possess good verbal and written communication skills
