Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Hyderabad seeks a seasoned software engineer to implement and test complex C/C++ modules. You will read design documents, write implementations, derive algorithms, and create unit tests, while providing production support and client assistance.

The role requires strong C/C++ skills, OOP, RTTI, memory management, and Linux experience, with knowledge of MQ, CORBA, SQL, and build tooling. 4–7 years experience is expected, with a focus on quality and problem solving.

• Corba – what is IDL. How does the CORBA protocol works?
• Good Analytical and Logical skills.
• Awareness of software engineering processes in design, code, testing etc.
• Understanding memory leaks and memory violations (segmentation faults).
• Knowledge of memory leak detection tools preferred Valgrind
• Familiarity with Git or similar tools.
• Ability to provide solutions to moderately complex technical problems independently.
• Good knowledge and hands on experience in SQL
• Experience with compilation, linking, and build processes.
• Ability to work under less supervision
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

• - Knowledge of GPP and/or Payments domain is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of Linux.
• Good CORBA knowledge.
• Good knowledge of GCC, Makefiles, CMake, and build tools.
• Good experience with Oracle Advanced Queuing (AQ).
