Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Hyderabad is seeking a QA Tester to ensure quality of banking software by executing test cases, reporting defects, and triaging issues. The role involves understanding requirements, preparing test scenarios, and providing production support when needed.

The candidate should have strong SQL, knowledge of payments/SWIFT messaging, and experience in testing banking applications. Excellent communication and independent work abilities are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing software applications in banking domain.
• Strong SQL knowledge and database testing skills.
• Familiarity with testing processes and activities.
• In-depth knowledge of payments domain and SWIFT messaging.
• Exposure to client support and production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to triage and perform deep defect analysis.
• Good teamwork and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and review test cases.
• Experience providing L0/L1 testing efforts.
• Familiarity with peer review of test cases.

• Simulation & Triage of issues raised by customers
