Job summary

Acufore India is seeking a Costing Engineer to join their dynamic team in Bengaluru. The role involves identifying potential suppliers, engaging in manufacturability discussions, and providing engineering support during project phases. Ideal candidates will have over 4 years of experience in costing and procurement, a B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or Industrial engineering, and proficiency in Solidworks and MS Office. Strong communication and vendor management skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Identify and finalize potential suppliers based on norms.
• Participate in preliminary discussions for manufacturability with suppliers.
• Develop new and alternate vendors.
• Manage customer interactions with strong communication skills.
• Provide engineering support during project discussions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer pre-design discussions.
• Support project kick-offs and provide development engineering support.
• Develop design concepts, engineering calculations, and detailed drawings.

Job Description

• Identification of potential suppliers and finalization based on consideration of norms.
• Preliminary discussion for manufacturability with supplier.
• New and alternate Vendor Development.
• Knowledge in International Freight.
• Experience in handling the customer and manufacturer with good communication skill.
• Having Hands on experience in Solidworks and MS office
• Attending Customer pre-design discussions, project kick-offs calls and providing development engineering support.
• Should have knowledge of developing design concepts, engineering calculations, 3D models and detailed drawings, while working closely with International customers and their fabrications.

Academic & trades qualifications

(UG- B.Tech/B.E.-Mechanical, Production/Industrial)

Work experience & skills

4+ years of Experience in Costing & Procurement
