Job summary

KLJ Paraflex India Limited in Gurugram is seeking a Costing Specialist to manage product costing for wire and cable products and to maintain BOMs. You will be involved in cost control and provide pricing support to sales teams.

The role requires monitoring material price fluctuations (Copper, Aluminium, PVC) and updating costing in ERP/Excel to assist budgeting and MIS activities. Strong analytical ability and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have strong knowledge of manufacturing costing and inventory accounting.
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Tally Prime, Busy, Oracle, etc.).
• Knowledge of BOM preparation and product costing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product costing and cost sheets for all wire & cable products.
• Calculate raw material cost (Copper, Aluminium, PVC, XLPE, FRLS, Armour, Packaging, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Analyze manufacturing costs including material, labour, and overheads.
• Monitor daily fluctuations in Copper and Aluminium prices and update costing accordingly.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales, and Stores departments for cost-related information.
• Prepare quotations and pricing support for the Sales team.
• Conduct variance analysis between standard cost and actual production cost.
• Maintain product-wise profitability reports.
• Verify inventory valuation and cost records.
• Assist in monthly MIS, budgeting, and cost control activities.
• Ensure costing data is updated in ERP/Excel.
