Job summary

ITC in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Quantity Surveyor (Civil) with 8-12 years of experience to manage quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimation for civil, interior, facade, and external development packages. You will develop variance reports, ensure accuracy of BOQ quantities, and certify payments in line with IS codes and contract terms.

The role requires BE/BTech in Civil Engineering, strong Excel and AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with CostX or PlanSwift.

Qualifications

• BE/ BTech in Civil Engineering.
• 8-12 years of experience in Quantity Surveying for civil, structural & finishing/interior packages.
• Knowledge of IS codes and market rates; cost estimation and quantity surveying techniques.

Responsibilities

• Take off quantities from approved drawings and certify quantities per BOQ.
• Perform rate analysis and first-principle costing for civil, interior, facade and external packages.
• Develop and submit variance reports on BOQ quantities; track work certified for each order.
• Reconcile ITC supplied material; certify contractor bills per contract terms.
• Generate area-wise quantity certification reports as directed by project team.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Quantity takes off from approved drawings.
• Rate analysis and first principal costing of civil, interior, faade, External development packages.
• Develop and submit the variance report on BOQ quantities corresponding to GFC and Tender quantity.
• Proper record keeping & tracking of work certified for each Work Order/package.
• Reconciliation of ITC supplied material, if any.
• Checking and certifying bills submitted by the contractor in line with Contract Terms & Conditions. Quantity to be certified as per relevant IS code or Standard industry practice.
• Generation of area wise quantity certification report as directed by the Project Team. Other Quantity Certification Related Tasks/Reports as directed by the Project Team

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/ B tech in Civil Engineering
• 8-12 Years of experience in Quantity Surveying for Civil, Structural & Finishing/Interior Packages for Residential, Warehouse, commercial & Industrial Project
• Knowledge of Cost X/ Plan swift / quantity take off tool will be preferable.
• Good Knowledge of IS codes for quantity certification.
• Good knowledge of market rates and rate analysis of civil, interior, faade, External development packages.
• Good understanding of Cost Estimation & Quantity Surveying techniques.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Auto Cad.
• Sound knowledge in Civil Engineering
