Job summary

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Civil Quantity Surveyor to undertake quantity take-offs for residential, commercial, hotel, hospital, fitout and industrial projects in Haryana. You will utilize CostX and AutoCAD for measurements, transfer data into BOQs, and support cost estimation and tendering activities.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering and strong MS Excel/Word skills. Experience with IS 1200 and POMI standards is essential for accurate cost planning and final accounts

Qualifications

• Experience with IS 1200 and POMI standards.
• Proficient in Cost X and AutoCAD for quantity take-off.
• Draft or validate Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assist cost estimation and rate analysis.
• Familiarity with tendering processes and documentation.
• Prepare interim payment recommendations and change control.
• Contribute to cost reporting, cashflow forecasting and final accounts.
• Apply construction tech in cost planning and evaluate materials/labour costs.

Undertake quantity works for Building projects - Residential, Commercial, Hotel, Hospital, Fitout, Industry / warehouse (depending on project requirement)

Responsibilities

• Undertake quantity take-offs for Civil, Structure, Architectural works using IS 1200, POMI or other similar standards.
• Use software tools (e.g., Cost X, AutoCAD) for quantity take-off and summarize quantities, transfer data into BOQs or cost plans including carrying out bulk checks.
• Draft or Validate Bills of Quantities including carrying out bulk checks.
• Support cost estimation activities by identifying basic material and labour rates and understanding rate analysis for standard work items.
• Having basic understanding on tendering process and documentation.
• Prepare interim payment recommendations, maintain cost control documentation, and manage change control processes.
• Contribute to cost reporting, cashflow forecasting, valuation of variations, tracking of risk allowances, and preparation of final accounts.
• Apply working knowledge of construction technologies and methods in cost planning tasks. Assess cost implications of materials, labour and construction methods during design and execution stages.
• Should be good in CAD, Cost-X (qty take off tools) and other quantification / estimation software.
• Good skills on MS excel and word and ability to learn and adapt to customized software.
