Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Chennai seeks a Cost Analyst to drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost-management for logistics and supply chain operations. You will prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review, and conduct techno-commercial evaluations of contracts and capex/opex proposals.

Responsibilities include monitoring costs, implementing corrective actions, optimizing warehousing, transportation, and in-plant logistics, and ensuring accurate cost allocation with Finance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual budgets, cost plans, and forecasts for logistics and supply chain functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly MIS reports, cost dashboards, and variance analysis for management review.
• Conduct techno-commercial evaluation of logistics contracts, warehouse automation projects, and capex/opex proposals.
• Monitor actual costs against budgets, analyze deviations, and drive corrective action plans.
• Support cost optimization initiatives across warehousing, transportation, packaging, and in-plant logistics.
• Ensure accurate cost allocation, provisioning, and closing activities in coordination with Finance and Controlling teams.
• Maintain and enhance costing systems, templates, and automated reporting tools (SAP FICO/CO, Power BI, Excel).
• Liaise with internal and external auditors for cost audits and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (SCM, Procurement, Warehouse, Production, Logistics Engineering) for integrated cost management.
