Job summary

The House of Abhinandan Lodha is seeking a cost-focused Quantity Surveyor to oversee pre- and post-contract activities across multiple project packages in Navi Mumbai. You will prepare budgets, monitor costs, validate variances, and drive cost-saving initiatives to support BD, design, and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities include updating SAP budgets with WBS allocations and producing timely CTC reports, ensuring financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities across all project packages.
• Prepare and manage project budgets from inception through BD, TDD, Concept Design, Schematic Design, and GFC with package-wise cost breakups.
• Prepare and periodically review Cost-to-Complete (CTC) reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Track and monitor project costs against approved budgets, identify variances, and highlight deviations for corrective action.
• Review and validate Variation Orders, Basic Rate Escalations, and contractual claims.
• Finalize quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for tendering and procurement.
• Monitor design and development from a cost management perspective to ensure budget compliance.
• Identify and implement cost-saving and value engineering opportunities for cost optimization.
• Support the Business Development/Operations Strategy team with budgeting and commercial inputs for prospective projects and acquisitions.
• Provide cost-related inputs to the planning team for cash flow forecasting and expenditure monitoring.
• Update approved budgets in SAP, including WBS structure, WBS-wise budget allocation, and SAP budget monitoring.

• Preparation and management of project budgets from inception through various design stages including Business Development (BD), Technical Due Diligence (TDD), Concept Design, Schematic Design, and Good for Construction (GFC), with detailed package-wise cost breakups.
• Preparation and periodic review of Cost-to-Complete (CTC) reports on monthly and quarterly basis.
• Tracking and monitoring project costs against approved budgets, identifying variances, and proactively highlighting deviations for corrective action.
• Review and validation of Variation Orders, Basic Rate Escalations, Contractual Claims etc.
• Finalization of quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for tendering and procurement processes.
• Monitoring project design and development from a cost management perspective to ensure budget compliance.
• Identification and implementation of cost-saving and value engineering opportunities, while providing commercial inputs to the design team for cost optimization.
• Supporting the Business Development/Operations Strategy team with budgeting and commercial inputs for prospective projects and acquisitions.
• Providing cost-related inputs to the planning team for effective cash flow forecasting and expenditure monitoring.
