Job summary

Bravient Advisors Private Limited in Chennai is seeking a Cost Accountant Team Leader with 8+ years of manufacturing finance experience. You will lead a small team and oversee costing, variance analysis and month-end close, while partnering with global functions across Operations, Procurement and Finance.

The role requires hands-on SAP experience and maturity in working with multinational stakeholders in a shared services setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified CMA with 8+ years in Cost Accounting/Manufacturing Finance.
• Strong experience in Manufacturing Costing, Standard Costing, Inventory Valuation and Variance Analysis.
• Hands-on SAP experience.
• Proven team leadership experience.
• Experience working with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance stakeholders.
• Exposure to global operations in an MNC/GBS/GCC/shared services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 3–4 Cost Accountants.
• Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, cost rollups and month-end close activities.
• Analyze material, labour, overhead and purchase price variances.
• Drive cost accounting processes, standardization and continuous improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance teams globally.
• Ensure accurate and timely cost accounting and financial reporting.
• Support internal controls, audits and compliance with policies.
• Drive transition and process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
• Provide guidance and development support to team members.
• Work effectively with global stakeholders in a GBS/GCC or shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadand manage a team of 3–4 Cost Accountants.

Mandatory Requirements
