Bravient Advisors Private Limited is seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Leader for its Global Finance team in Chennai. The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing finance and a CMA qualification, with strong SAP skills and prior team management experience.

You will oversee costing, variance analysis, month-end closes and internal controls across global operations. The position is full-time with office-based work from Chennai, engaging with Operations, Supply Chain and Finance partners

Qualifications

• Qualified CMA with at least 8+ years in cost accounting/manufacturing finance.
• Strong expertise in manufacturing costing, standard costing, inventory valuation and variance analysis.
• Hands-on SAP experience and leadership of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 3–4 cost accountants.
• Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, cost rollups and month-end closes.
• Analyze material, labor, overhead and purchase price variances.
• Drive cost accounting processes, standardization and continuous improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance globally.
• Ensure accurate and timely cost accounting and financial reporting.
• Support internal controls, audits and compliance with policies.
• Drive transition and process improvements within finance.
• Provide guidance and development support to team members.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders in a GBS/GCC/shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadand manage a team of 3–4 Cost Accountants.
• Overseestandard costing, inventory valuation, cost rollups and month-end closeactivities.
