Job summary

THE Talent Keepers in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Costing professional to optimise production costing and ensure accurate material costs. You will classify expenses, validate RM consumption in the accounting system, and collaborate with SAP CO to deliver precise cost data.

The role requires 3+ years in cost accounting, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication with stakeholders. A hands-on approach to SAP S4HANA is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in finance/commerce with costing specialization.
• 3+ years in accounting/costing roles.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP S4HANA.
• Exceptional analytical decision-making based on data.
• Excellent communication and presentation of costing reports to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Examine production costs to determine efficient production methods.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Examine costs of production to determine the most efficient methods of production.

Ensure accurate classification of expenses for conversion cost calculation.

Research material costs to ensure the accuracy of RM consumption in accounting system.

Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard prices to actual production costs.

Participate in physical inventory counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.(value)

Monitor the accumulation of all direct labour, overhead and other manufacturing-related expenses.

Work closely with other SAP modules to ensure seamless integration.

Proven ability to analyse business requirements and help in effective SAP CO solutions.

Atomisation of CO related process for faster & accurate data.

Required skills and qualifications

A bachelors or master’s degree in finance or commerce with a specialisation in Costing

3+ years of experience in the accountancy field or an equivalent role.

Proficiency in accounting software like Excel, word, PPT and well-acquainted with SAP S4HANA.

Exceptional ability to think critically and make decisions based on data analysis.

Excellent communication and presentation skills in discussing Costing reports with company stakeholders.
