Kia India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Asst. Manager in Corporate Affairs to lead CSR governance, stakeholder liaison, and project execution from planning to reporting. The role requires 3–5 years in corporate communications, PR, media relations, or community engagement within the CSR space.

Qualifications

  • PG in Rural Development, Management, Development Studies, Sociology, or Social Work is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
  • Relevant experience in CSR, community development, Government liaison, or social impact projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Companies Act, 2013, CSR Rules, compliance, and statutory reporting will be an added advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Government departments and local authorities for approvals, permissions, NOCs, and other CSR-related requirements.
  • Support the identification of community needs and CSR opportunities; coordinate with NGOs and internal teams.
  • Develop annual CSR plans, budgets, and implementation frameworks; oversee end-to-end project execution.
  • Maintain CSR records, monitor expenditure, and assist in annual CSR reports and disclosures.
  • Conduct field visits, track progress against milestones, and prepare progress reports for management.

Position Overview

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Media Relations, or Community Engagement.

Key Responsibilities
1. Government Relations Stakeholder Liaison
  • Coordinate with relevant Government departments and local authorities for approvals, permissions, NOCs, and other statutory requirements related to CSR initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings with Government officials and key stakeholders, including preparation of agendas, minutes of meetings, and action trackers.
  • Coordinate site visits and review meetings involving Government officials, Company leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of Government correspondence, approvals, official communications, and statutory documentation.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with Government and community stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation of CSR initiatives.
2. CSR Project Planning Implementation
  • Support the identification of community needs, development priorities, and potential CSR opportunities aligned with the Company s CSR objectives.
  • Coordinate with CSR implementing agencies, NGOs, project partners, and internal teams for effective project execution.
  • Support the development of annual CSR plans, project proposals, budgets, and implementation frameworks.
  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of approved CSR projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, and defined outcomes.
  • Support post-project activities, community engagement, project handover, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Facilitate project inaugurations, stakeholder events, and community outreach programs.
3. CSR Compliance, Documentation Reporting
  • Ensure proper maintenance of CSR records and documentation in line with the Companies Act, 2013, applicable CSR Rules, and Company policies.
  • Maintain comprehensive project-wise documentation, statutory records, approvals, agreements, and supporting documents.
  • Monitor CSR expenditure against approved budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support the preparation of Annual CSR Reports, management reports, and statutory disclosures.
  • Maintain an updated CSR project database, dashboards, and digital records for effective tracking and audit readiness.
4. Monitoring, Evaluation Impact Assessment
  • Conduct periodic field visits and project reviews to assess implementation progress and identify areas requiring intervention.
  • Monitor physical and financial progress against approved project milestones, budgets, and timelines.
  • Collect and validate project data, beneficiary details, photographs, testimonials, and success stories.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual CSR progress reports for management review.
  • Support the evaluation of project outcomes and impact assessment studies to measure the effectiveness and sustainability of CSR initiatives.
  • Identify project-level risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities and coordinate with stakeholders for timely corrective action.
5. Stakeholder Community Engagement
  • Develop strong relationships with local communities, Government representatives, implementing agencies, NGOs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support community consultations and engagement activities to ensure CSR initiatives are relevant, inclusive, and aligned with local needs.
  • Represent the Company professionally during community and stakeholder interactions, reinforcing the organization s commitment to responsible and sustainable community development.
