Job summary

Qualifications

Role & responsibilities

TheCorporateQualityHeadwill lead the development, implementation, and governance of theQualityManagement System (QMS) across all EPC projects in the GastoPower and Green Hydrogen sectors. This strategicroleensures that engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities meet international standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirementswith a special focus on managing Chinese vendorqualityand multinational supply chain compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the company’squalitystrategy aligned with EPC business goals.
• EstablishqualityKPIs, reporting frameworks, and drive continuous improvement.

Project Oversight

• Leadqualityassurance across complex EPC projects in GastoPower and Green Hydrogen (including ammonia, methanol, and efuels).
• Ensurequalityintegration throughout design, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning phases.

VendorQualityManagement

• Develop and monitorqualityplans for international vendors, especially Chinese OEMs and fabricators.
• Conduct factory inspections, FATs, and audits in China and other supplier hubs.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to international codes (ASME, API, IEC, ISO 9001), client specifications, and GCC regulations.
• Liaise with thirdparty inspectors and statutory authorities.

Team Leadership & Development

• Build and lead a crossfunctional QA/QC team across multiple project sites.
• Conduct training programs to enhance internal QA/QC capabilities.

Reporting & Communication

• Provide regular updates to executive management onqualityperformance and challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, HSE, and construction teams to drive integratedqualitysolutions.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Experience

• 2835 years of progressive QA/QC experience in EPC businesses.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior QA/QC leadershiprolein largescale infrastructure, power, manufacturing or process industry projects.
• Proven experience in Power and Hydrocarbon sectors.
• Mandatory experience in GCC projects with strong regulatory knowledge.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing Chinese vendors, including audits, FATs, and nonconformance resolution.

Key Competencies

• Deep understanding of EPC workflows andqualityassurance principles.
• Strong knowledge of materials, welding, NDE, coatings, and rotating/static equipment.
• Proficiency in riskbasedqualityplanning and root cause analysis.
• Skilled inqualitymanagement software and digital inspection tools.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and crosscultural communication.
• Willingness to travel globally to vendor and project locations.
