Job summary

Tecnicas Reunidas is seeking a Site QA/QC Engineer for POWER PROJECTS in Bengaluru. The role ensures implementation of the Project Quality Management System across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, aligning with project specs, international codes, client requirements, and company procedures to achieve zero rework and high customer satisfaction.

Essential qualifications include 5+ years in power plant EPC QA/QC, CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent, and strong English communication;

Qualifications

• 5+ years in power plant EPC QA/QC role.
• CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent certification.
• Engineering degree in Civil/Mechanical/Power Plant.
• Strong English—spoken and written.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerBI for reporting.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor desirable.
• ASNT Level 2 or equivalent certifications.
• Coordination with HO and Site required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review quality procedures and reports.
• Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic testing; oversee installations.
• Report project KPIs; monitor performance and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, ISO and client requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports and quality records; manage NCRs/CAPA/RCA.
• Review engineering deliverables and requisitions per specs.
• Provide project-focused quality training.
• Coordinate daily with HO and Site teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION : Site QC Engineer (POWER PROJECTS)

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Project Quality Management System

throughout the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of power projects. The role

ensures compliance with project specifications, international codes and standards, client requirements, and

company quality procedures to achieve zero rework and high customer satisfaction.

* QAQC Engineer: If experience is 5 & ; 10 years.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the Role

• Develop and review quality procedures and reports.
• Civil works, Structural steel, Mechanical equipment installation, Piping, Boilers/HRSG, Turbines, Electrical installation, Instrumentation and Control systems, Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic testing.
• Report project KPIs. Monitor performance and identify areas of improvement.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Power Plant Projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ASME, AWS, ISO standards and client requirements.
• Provide project focused Quality training.
• Review requisitions.
• Strong coordination and reporting skill.
• Candidate shall have knowledge of all steps in quality for piping works, revision of working procedures, ITPs, quality dossier etc.
• Prepare inspection reports and quality records, Prepare Mechanical Completion (MC) and Commissioning dossiers, Manage NCRs, observations, CAPA, RCA.
• Review engineering deliverables, Requisitions, as per project specifications.
• Problem-solving mindset with a firm commitment to zero-compromise quality standards.
