Skys Adobe Plus in Bengaluru is seeking a legal professional with strong real estate and corporate law experience. You will draft, review, and finalize a wide range of agreements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • LLB/LLM with real estate law experience.
  • Experience drafting and reviewing agreements.
  • Kannada reading preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate with government authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, modify, and finalize various legal agreements, contracts, and corporate documents.
  • Prepare and review Joint Development Agreements (JDA), Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), Development Agreements, JV Agreements, and other real estate-related documents.
  • Coordinate collection, verification, and filing of land and property documents such as title deeds and revenue records.
  • Prepare legal scrutiny reports and property due-diligence reports and identify risks.
  • Draft and review Sale Agreements, Construction Agreements, Agreements for Sale, Sale Deeds, Construction Contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with RERA, Registration, Stamp Duty, and other laws.
  • Coordinate with advocates on civil cases, property disputes, notices, and litigation.
  • Draft responses to legal notices and government notices.
  • Coordinate with government offices for registrations and property matters.
  • Maintain organized records of all agreements and property documents.

Job description

Job Responsibilities


  • Agreement Drafting & Review: Draft, review, modify, and finalize various legal agreements, contracts, and corporate documents.

  • JDA / MOU Preparation: Prepare and review Joint Development Agreements (JDA), Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), Development Agreements, JV Agreements, and other real estate-related documentation.

  • Property & Land Documentation: Coordinate the collection, verification, and filing of land and property documents, including title deeds, revenue records, ECs, RTCs, conversion orders, approvals, and other relevant documents.

  • Land Legal Due Diligence: Conduct and prepare legal scrutiny reports, title reports, property due-diligence reports, and identify legal risks relating to land and property transactions.

  • Sale & Construction Agreements: Draft and review Sale Agreements, Construction Agreements, Agreements for Sale, Sale Deeds, Construction Contracts, and other customer/project-related legal documents.

  • Legal Compliance: Ensure that agreements and property transactions comply with applicable RERA, Registration, Stamp Duty, Land, Municipal, and other applicable laws and regulations.

  • Case & Litigation Coordination: Follow up and coordinate with external advocates regarding civil cases, property disputes, notices, claims, and other litigation, if any.

  • Legal Notices & Responses: Draft, review, and coordinate responses to legal notices, customer complaints, government notices, and other legal correspondence.

  • Registration & Government Offices: Coordinate with advocates, consultants, sub-registrar offices, revenue authorities, and other government departments for registrations, documentation, and property-related matters.

  • Legal Records Management: Maintain an organized database and physical/digital records of all agreements, property documents, court matters, legal notices, and project-related legal documentation.




Preferred Candidate Profile


  • LLB / LLM qualification.

  • Experience in real estate, property law, construction, or corporate legal matters preferred.

  • Kannada reading and comprehension skills preferred.

  • Strong experience in drafting and reviewing legal agreements.

  • Good knowledge of JDA, MOU, Sale Agreements, Construction Agreements, property documentation, and real estate due diligence.

  • Ability to independently coordinate with advocates, government authorities, consultants, and internal teams.

  • Strong documentation, negotiation, follow-up, and communication skills.
