Job summary

Corenza in Bengaluru seeks an FP&A Leader to oversee the company’s planning, forecasting, and P&L management. You will partner with the Head of Finance and cross-functional teams to drive EBITDA and cash efficiency for a fast-growing D2C consumer brand.

You will own the AOP, QRF, and monthly estimates, providing actionable insights to steering committee on financial performance and strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• MBA or CA with PQE in FP&A leadership and P&L oversight.
• Experience driving working capital and cash management for growth brands.
• Proven ability to lead governance, ROI studies, and cross-functional partnering.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A function at company level and partner with Head of Finance.
• Own annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly estimates; slice data by category and geography.
• Drive P&L from CM3 to PAT, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive EBITDA, PBT improvements via operating expense and finance cost levers.
• Manage cash flow and runway, optimize working capital across the business.
• Conduct ROI studies for proposed changes and provide strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:-

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnering

• Work with the Head of Finance and other departments as the company-level FP&A partner
• Be the finance function leadership turns to for a company-wide view of performance

B. Planning & Forecasting (Company Level)

• Drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Quarterly Rolling Forecasts (QRF), and Running Monthly Estimates (RME) at a company level
• Slice and dice AOP, forecasts, and estimates to Category, Channel, and Geography levels

C. P&L Ownership (CM3 to PAT)

• Drive the P&L from CM3 to PAT margin levels, working with the Head of Finance and other support/corporate functions
• Track Actuals vs. AOP / Forecasts / Estimates, and drive the analysis of what went well and what didn't
• Convert variance analysis into corrective actions that keep the company on track to its end targets

D. EBITDA & PBT Improvement

• Drive EBITDA and PBT improvement basis finance levers around Operating Expense optimization
• Drive Finance Cost optimization as an additional lever to EBITDA and PBT improvement

E. Cash Flow & Runway Management

• Drive cash flow and runway improvement through better working capital management
• Drive optimization of funds across the business

F. Strategic Finance & ROI Studies

• Drive strategic finance or ROI studies for proposed changes to the AOP, new sub-channels, or category/sub-category additions
• Provide leadership with clear insight on how the P&L and Cash Flow will behave based on proposed changes, ahead of the decision

G. Governance & Advisory

• Build and run the monthly Corporate FP&A cadence
• Operate as an advisor to the Head of Finance and management by Month 3
• Institutionise metrics, SOPs, and governance so company-level performance is tracked consistently, month over month

Authority & Decision Rights

• Sign-off on company-level AOP, forecasts, and monthly estimates before submission
• Flag and elevate P&L (CM3PAT), EBITDA, or PBT variances that require corrective action
• Recommend Opex and Finance Cost optimization actions across corporate and support functions
• Direct access to the Head of Finance and management on strategic finance, cash flow, and runway matters

Mandatory

• MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 4–8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in the D2C industry
• Demonstrated growth to an FP&A Lead level
• Experience managing P&L, Working Capital, and Cash for a growing, fast-paced D2C Consumer Brand
