Job summary

Protolabs in India, Corporate Systems, is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise ERP applications with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics AX and related Microsoft technologies.

You will work with business stakeholders and engineers to deliver enhancements, improve reliability, and ensure ERP scalability. Exposure to AI-assisted development and test automation is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.

Join the team as our new Software Engineer - Corporate Systems

India | Corporate Systems

You will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications that enable our core business operations. This role primarily supports the Corporate Systems team, with a strong focus on managing, maintaining, and extending the company's ERP platform.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and other engineers to deliver business enhancements, resolve operational issues, and ensure the reliability and scalability of ERP-based solutions. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is essential, with exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, AI‑assisted development, and test automation considered a strong plus.

What You'll Do:

ERP Application Development & Support

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enhancements to the company's ERP system.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support for existing business operations, including troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
• Maintain and enhance integrations between the ERP and other corporate systems.
• Ensure ERP solutions meet performance, reliability, and security standards.

Business Enhancements

• Partner with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Deliver new features and improvements that support evolving business processes.
• Participate in solution design, technical reviews, and impact assessments for proposed changes.

Technical Excellence & Collaboration

• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following established development standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, analysts, QA, and operations teams.
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to team members and stakeholders.

Automation & Innovation

Work Environment
