Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting is looking for a Java backend developer to design, build, and continuously improve the clients online platform. You will research and implement new technology solutions in line with best practices, ensuring resiliency and availability across products, while collaborating effectively as a team member.

The role requires strong Core Java skills, experience with Spring MVC/Hibernate/Kafka, and hands-on React.js for UI work, with knowledge of microservices and Spring Boot as a

Qualifications

• Expertise in Core Java with strong knowledge of String Mutability, Collections, Concurrency and Multi-Threading.
• Experience with Spring MVC, Hibernate and Kafka is helpful given the current stack.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database is required.
• Hands-on experience with React.js for UI development.
• Knowledge of Microservices and Spring Boot is an added advantage.

Requirements

• Expertise in Core Java, with the ability to demonstrate programming skills through typical coding problems, particularly String Mutability, Collection Framework, Concurrency, and Multi-Threading.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain the reasoning behind implemented solutions.
  
• Experience with Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Kafka would be helpful, as the current application stack is primarily based on Spring MVC with some Kafka usage.
  
• Strong experience with Oracle Database is required.
