Job summary

Luxoft Pune is seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer to design, develop and maintain full-stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring and modern web technologies.

You will review code, lead design discussions, mentor peers, and deliver robust microservices with React front-ends, SQL databases, and cloud components in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong, in-depth knowledge of core and advanced Java concepts.
• Experience with Struts or UI development using JavaScript, HTML, ReactJS.
• Hands-on with Spring-Spring Boot, Camel, JUnit, Hibernate to build microservices.
• Shell scripting, Unix, PL/SQL, Oracle/Postgres databases, IBM MQ & JMS.
• Knowledge of cloud components and distributed systems.
• Strong OOAD and design skills; finance domain knowledge (Investment Banking) preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; Agile experience with metrics.
• Exposure to GitLab and DevOps tools like TeamCity, Nexus, Maven/Gradle.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring, and modern web technologies such as React.Write and test product development code
• Apply core and advanced concepts to develop business solutions
• Participate in, or lead, design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide architecture
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
• Triage product or platform issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
• Challenge vague requirements to gain clarity and avoid costly assumptions
