FRND in Bengaluru is seeking a creative Copywriter Intern to join our in-office team for 6 months. You live to play with words, know internet culture, and can craft sharp, scroll-stopping copy that resonates with our audience.

You’ll write social posts, app screens, campaigns, shape the brand voice, and collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to bring ideas to life. This paid internship offers growth and exposure to founders and investors.

Qualifications

• A flair for writing catchy, relatable, and humorous content.
• Strong command of English (bonus if you know another regional language).
• Prior internship or freelance experience in content/copywriting is a plus.
• Good understanding of social media, youth trends, memes, and storytelling formats.

Job description

We’re looking for a creative Copywriter Intern to join our in-office team in Bangalore. This role is made for someone who lives to play with words, gets internet culture inside out, and can write sharp, scroll-stopping copy.

What You’ll Do:

Craft compelling copies for social media posts, app screens, notifications, and marketing campaigns

Assist in shaping the tone of voice across all communication touchpoints

Brainstorm creative content ideas that resonate with our Tier 2/3 audience

Help define and maintain a consistent brand voice across everything we say — from in-app messages to marketing campaigns

Create catchy scripts, punchy one-liners, memorable taglines, and scroll-stopping CTAs that leave a lasting impression

Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to bring ideas to life

Conduct quick research to stay in tune with internet trends, pop culture, and youth lingo

Edit and polish content based on feedback while maintaining brand consistency

What We’re Looking For:

This is an In-Office paid Internship for the duration of 6 months

A flair for writing catchy, relatable, and humorous content

Strong command of English (bonus if you’re comfortable in any other regional language)

Prior internship or freelance experience in content/copywriting is a plus

Good understanding of social media, youth trends, memes, and storytelling formats

Ability to meet deadlines, take feedback positively, and iterate fast

Note: The FRND team works 6 days a week, with 1st and 3rd Saturdays being working days.
