Job summary

Straive in Chennai, India, is seeking a Copy editing / Style Editing professional to learn and assist in editing manuscripts and other content to meet international publishing standards.

You will review manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, and clarity, enhance readability, coordinate with writers and editors, and help apply the house style while following SEO basics.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in publishing are preferred
• Good command of the English language and grammar rules, and strong communication and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Raise author queries where required and incorporate changes accordingly.

As a Copy editing / Style Editing , you will be responsible for learning and assisting in editing and improving manuscripts, articles, and other content to meet international publishing standards. Copy Editing & Proofreading: Review written materials (blog posts, articles, marketing collateral, white papers, social media copy, reports, or manuscripts) for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and clarity.
