Department Overview

McDonald’s has an exciting opportunity for a highly organized Payroll Services Representative to support payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee pay. The ideal candidate will assist with payroll transactions, maintain employee payroll records, validate payroll data, and provide excellent customer service to employees and business stakeholders.

The Payroll Services Representative plays a critical role in supporting payroll activities across a large employee population by ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies. This role works closely with other McDonald’s teams to resolve payroll inquiries and maintain payroll accuracy.

Duties

• Ensure that MCD store and staff employees are paid correctly (including research, data entry, edit review and correction, etc.)
• Timely response to emails as appropriate (address any escalations)
• Provide support to call center for escalated payroll inquiries
• Assist and collaborate with other MCD teams on payroll inquiries/issues
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or relevant field.
• 1-3 years of Payroll experience required
• Payroll experience is mandatory and must be able to perform complex transactions. Call Center, Accounting or Finance along with Payroll preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work both independently and within a team, aptitude towards technology and applications
