Job summary

JobItUs in Gujarat, India, seeks a laboratory Safety and Quality professional to execute daily testing activities with strict adherence to safety and quality standards. You will own compliance within your work areas and coordinate with Quality and Production teams.

Responsibilities include testing materials, recording results in ERP, preparing reagents, and maintaining audit-ready lab conditions with 5S practices. Prior experience in QA labs is desirable.

Qualifications

• Follow safety protocols and quality instructions in day-to-day lab testing activities.
• Own safety and quality compliance in respective work areas per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Testing and inspection of raw material, finished product, packaging material and process samples.
• Record results of tested samples into ERP system.
• Prepare reagents and chemical solutions.
• Process COA through ERP and review before submission to supply chain.
• Manage in-house lab equipment under guidance of lab in-charge.
• Report any deviation/abnormalities to Executive – Quality and production supervisor promptly.
• Retention of samples of raw material and finished products as required.
• Maintain 5S in the laboratory area.
• Ensure efficient resource utilization, reduce losses, report and prevent unsafe behavior in area.
• Oversee waste/rejection/safe storage per defined procedures.

• Responsible for taking ownership for safety and quality related compliance execution in respective work areas as per defined company standards.

Quality

• Testing and inspection of raw material, finished product, packaging material and process samples.


• Result recording of the tested samples into ERP system.


• Reagents and chemical solution preparations.


• COA through ERP system and review before submit to supply chain.


• In house lab equipment under guidance of lab in-charge.


• Responsible for reporting any deviation / abnormalities to Executive – Quality and production supervisor in timely manner.


• Sample retentions of raw material and finished product as per requirements.


• Maintenance of 5S of laboratory area.


• Responsible for taking ownership for effective resource utilization, losses elimination, reporting, and preventing any unsafe behavior in respective work area.


• Responsible for waste / rejection / safe storage as per defined procedures.
