Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Contract Manager in India to oversee the full lifecycle of contracts from award to closure. The role serves as a critical interface among sales, legal, finance, project, and procurement teams to ensure compliance and protection of the company’s commercial interests.

The position involves advising project teams on obligations, tracking milestones and payments, and handling amendments and change orders, including international contracts under FIDIC and INCOTERMS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contract lifecycle management (CLM) from award to closure.
• Act as a bridge between sales, legal, finance, project, and procurement teams.
• Support senior management with contract performance reports.
• Advise project teams on contractual obligations and risk exposure.
• Track key milestones, deliverables, and payment schedules.
• Monitor variations, amendments, and change orders.
• Ensure documentation is complete and auditable.
• Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams.
• Maintain contract repository and version control
• Manage claims, counterclaims, and dispute resolution.
• Protect company’s commercial interests
• Handle extension of time (EOT) requests and variation claims.
• Supporting international contracts (FIDIC, INCOTERMS, cross-border compliance).
