Job summary

Anika Industries is seeking to strengthen its contracting and procurement capabilities. The role focuses on developing a robust contracting and procurement strategy aligned with project horizons and group objectives to deliver high quality outcomes.

You will lead contracting in coordination with the Project Management Group, drive cost savings, improve contractor performance and risk mitigation, and ensure governance in all supplier engagements across multiple projects.

• Coordinating with legal for contract validations, conditions, variations or claims, and tracking services delivered by contractors.
• Identifying procurement category strategies and ensuring compliance with policies and statutory requirements.

Role & responsibilities

Developing Contracting and Procurement strategy depending on project horizon, Group's objectives, aspirations to deliver projects in high quality manner

• Developing strategic partnerships with contracts, developing optimum mix of cross category contractors for delivering timely delivery of services, developing vendors, relationship management, vendor evaluation and implementing actions upon evaluation.
• Leading contracting strategy in coordination with Project Management Group, cost savings in Procurement of contracts, improved contractor performance, improved quality of service and risk mitigation plans along with leading high value and complex transactions to oversee negotiation and governance mechanism.
• Coordinating with legal for periodical validation, contract conditions, review contractor performance, variations or claims, implementation of systems for tracking, monitoring and auditing services delivered by contractors.
• Identifying effective category strategy for Procurement, executing Procurement strategy in line with business and category strategy, achieving Procurement targets for the projects, compliance with teams, policies, and statutory requirements
