Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project teams to ensure contracts are effectively managed and executed.
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and notify project managers of deviations.
• Develop and maintain a contract database with all documents and correspondence.
• Provide guidance to project teams in subcontractor management.
• Ensure subcontractors follow contractual requirements including safety and quality standards.
• Review, analyse, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial and legal exposure.
• Prepare and review contractual claims, variations, EOT submissions, and related notices.

Role & responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to project teams in the management of subcontractors.
• Ensure that subcontractors follow all contractual requirements, including safety and quality standards.
• Review, analyse, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with contracts and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential financial and legal exposure.
• Preparation and review of contractual claims, variation orders, extension of time (EOT) submissions, and related notices, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and maintenance of supporting records.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Contracts management in the Construction or engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts management.
• Excellent writing, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with project teams.
