Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced SAP SD specialist to own and drive SD processes, lead implementations and coordinate cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes translating requirements into designs and ensuring alignment with business needs.

The ideal candidate has extensive SD experience, familiarity with S/4HANA, and strong knowledge of SD-to-MM/FI integration within an ERP landscape.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15-20 years of support/development experience in the SAP SD module.
• S/4HANA experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SD and Logistics business processes.

Job description

• Own implemented SAP SD processes
• Lead or participate in SAP implementation and maintenance project efforts
• Analyze new business processes and changes to existing functionality
• Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications
• Coordinate with SAP users and SAP functional teams to ensure complete documentation
• Arrange, lead, and participate in frequent SAP team meetings
• Review development efforts affecting existing functionality for integration and process impact
• Include responsible modules in development work as required
• Review functional and technical designs created by other analysts
• Prioritize and plan implementation of changes with business and IT teams
• Consult with users to understand issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Interpret, analyze, and document requirements for organizational issues
• Support escalated application issues
• Interface with client and IT personnel to accomplish assigned deliverables

Requirements

• Minimum 15-20 years of support/development experience in the SAP SD module
• S/4HANA experience is a plus
• Strong business process knowledge in SD and Logistics
• Good knowledge of Shipments and Transportation modules
• Strong SD analytical and configuration skills
• Good understanding of ERP architecture, IT infrastructure, interfaces, and batch jobs
• Experience with integrations such as MM, FI, PI, and other non-SAP systems
• Strong knowledge of SD business processes, Pricing, and Outputs
• Knowledge of MTO, MTS, and Consignment business processes
• Strong integration knowledge among SD, MM, and FI processes
• Flexibility with work timings; most of the time expected to work from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Strong problem-solving ability and ability to deal with integration issues
• Team player with accountability and a proactive approach
