Manipal Specialty Chemicals Private Limited is seeking a senior professional to develop and execute a holistic contract manufacturing strategy. The role focuses on building a global network of strategic manufacturing partners, driving tech transfer, scale-up and commercialisation of new products, while ensuring capacity, on-time delivery and cost optimisation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop & execute the Contract Manufacturing strategy.
• Build and manage a network of manufacturing partners.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard contract/toll/custom manufacturers.
• Drive commercial negotiations, costing, margins & long-term agreements.
• Lead technology transfer, scale-up & product commercialisation.
• Ensure capacity, supply continuity and on-time in-full delivery.
• Drive partner performance on quality, yield and compliance.
• Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, QA and BD teams.
• Develop partnerships, alliances and joint ventures with manufacturers.
• Support global customers, audits & technical evaluations.
• Build contract manufacturing into scalable, profitable platform.

Candidate Profile

• A Chemical / Mechanical Engineer with about 10-15 years of experience in Specialty Chemicals / Fine Chemicals / Performance Chemicals / Chemical Intermediates.
• Strong Experience in Contract Manufacturing / Toll Manufacturing / Custom Manufacturing / External Manufacturing.
• Strong Techno-Commercial understanding of Chemical Manufacturing.
• Proven Experience in Partner Identification, Qualification & Management.
• Strong Negotiation, Commercial & Stakeholder Management Skills.
• Experience in Technology Transfer, Scale-Up & New Product Commercialisation.
• Exposure to Global Customers / International Markets Preferred.
• Strong Understanding of Quality, EHS & Regulatory Requirements.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset with the Ability to Build & Scale a Business.
