Job summary

Shalina Healthcare in Navi Mumbai invites an experienced Senior Manager External Manufacturing to lead our Contract Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations, ensuring seamless product supply and high standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

You will drive strategic planning, vendor management and cost optimization across multiple manufacturing sites, while coordinating with R&D, QA/CQA, Regulatory, Procurement, Finance and Logistics.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Operations.
• Strong background in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or FMCG industries.
• Deep understanding of GMP, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
• Proven expertise in vendor management and commercial negotiations.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple manufacturing sites and complex supply networks.

Responsibilities

• Drive contract manufacturing strategy aligned with business goals.
• Identify and develop new manufacturing partners.
• Develop capacity planning and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage end-to-end production planning and supply across contract sites.
• Ensure adherence to delivery timelines and service levels.
• Identify, onboard, and manage contract manufacturing partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations and maintain vendor relationships.
• Ensure GMP and regulatory compliance across outsourced sites.
• Lead audits and close audit observations.
• Drive cost optimization and improve operational efficiencies.
• Monitor KPIs such as yield, material consumption, and productivity.
• Work with R&D, QA/CQA, Regulatory, Procurement, Finance, and Logistics teams.
• Support product transfers, scale-ups, and packaging trials.
• Manage budgets and forecasts; present MIS reports to leadership.
