Job summary

WABAG, a leading water technology company in Chennai, seeks a Senior Contracts Manager to handle EPC/DBOT/LSTK contracts and ensure compliance across projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years' experience, expert knowledge of FIDIC contracts, and hands-on exposure to WTP/ STP/ ETP and desalination projects. NICMAR background and LLB are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in EPC/DBOT/BOOT/LSTK contracts.
• Expert in FIDIC form contracts.
• Experience with water treatment, desalination plant project contracts preferable.
• BE / PGDACM from NICMAR essential; LLB adds advantage.

Responsibilities

• Draft contractual correspondences.
• Prepare responses to notices from the Employers.
• Perform delay analysis using schedules and documents.
• Prepare EOT applications.
• Prepare prolongation claims.
• Prepare variation claims.
• Prepare change order requests.
• Ensure contractual compliances.
• Initiate action for return of BGs and retention money.
• Close contracts successfully.

• Draft Contractual Correspondences
• Prepare responses to notices received from the Employers
• Perform Delay Analysis using schedules, documents
• Prepare EOT Applications
• Prepare prolongation Claims
• Prepare Variation Claims
• Prepare Change Order Requests
• Ensure Contractual Compliances
• Initiate action of return of BGs, Retention money
• Close the Contracts Successfully
• BE, PGDACM from NICMAR are essential. LLB will be an added advantage.
• 10+ years relevant Experience.

Preferred candidate profile

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, multitasking skills are must
• He/she should have hands on experience in managing EPC,DBOT,BOOT,LSTK Contracts
• He/she shall be expert in FIDIC Form of Contracts
• He/she should possess efficient in WTP ,STP,ETP and Desalination Plant Projects are Preferable
• Arbitration experience is an added advantage
