Job summary

Ashkom in Sanand, Gujarat, is seeking a Contract Line Operator (fresher or with relevant experience) to operate production and packaging machines. The role requires ITI Mechanical/Electrical or BSc, and male candidates are preferred. Working days are six per week with rotational shifts.

Candidates should be able to follow SOPs, maintain records, and work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse teams. Immediate joining is encouraged.

Qualifications

• ITI/educational background in mechanical or electrical trades or a BSc is required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel are expected.
• Familiarity with material handling, waste handling, and basic industrial safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and packaging machines as per SOPs and batch records.
• Follow safety, quality, and GMP procedures during shifts.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and report issues to the maintenance team.
• Support line clearance, cleaning, and 5S activities to maintain clean production areas.
• Maintain production records using basic computer skills and log books.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth lines.
• Support scrap segregation and housekeeping activities on the line.
