Job summary

AECOM in India is seeking a Contract & Procurement Lead for Solar PMC to oversee contract administration, procurement compliance, and commercial governance across utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.

You will support client decisions on variations, claims, payments, procurement performance, and commercial risk management while ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
Post graduate qualification in construction management, supply chain management, contracts, commercial management, or law preferred.
MRICS, RICS, WorldCC (IACCM), or equivalent professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor contractual obligations, notices, correspondence, variations, claims, change events, and procurement-related commercial matters.
Review procurement documentation, including MDCCs, IRNs, inspection records, material approvals, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with SCM, Planning, QS, and project teams to verify delivery status, schedule impacts, and payment support documentation.
Support assessment of variations, contract amendments, payment recommendations, and commercial risks.
Maintain commercial action registers, contract trackers, and formal correspondence records.
Monitor procurement compliance and elevate contractual, entitlement, or commercial risks impacting project delivery.
Support contract governance activities for Solar PV, BESS, and associated balance-of-plant packages.

Role Overview

AECOM is seeking a Contract & Procurement Lead Solar PMC to oversee contract administration, procurement compliance, and commercial governance for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects. The role will support client decision-making on variations, claims, payments, procurement performance, and commercial risk management while ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Post Graduate qualification in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, Contracts, Commercial Management, or Law preferred.
MRICS, RICS, WorldCC (IACCM), or equivalent professional certifications preferred.

Experience

710 years of experience in contract management, procurement, and commercial project controls.
Minimum 4 years of experience supporting utility-scale solar projects from PMC, Owner's Engineer, or EPC environments.
Experience with large-scale Solar PV, BESS, and renewable energy infrastructure projects preferred.
Strong exposure to variations, claims, EOT assessments, procurement compliance, and payment certifications.
