Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Contract & Commercial Lead Wind PMO to oversee contract administration, commercial governance, and claims management for utility-scale wind projects. The role supports client decision-making on contractual matters, variations, payments, and risks while ensuring governance compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in energy/EPC/renewables contract management, and hold relevant certifications such as MRICS, NICMAR, or PMP.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration and commercial management on energy/EPC/renewables projects.
• Strong knowledge of variation/claims handling, payments, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contract correspondence, notices, change-event logs, variation registers, and commercial records.
• Monitor contractual obligations, claims support documentation, and commercial compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with planning, QS, construction, and project teams to assess delays, milestones, logistics, and interfaces.
• Review payment-support documentation and completion evidence for contractual compliance.
• Support assessment of variations, claims, and commercial matters per governance requirements.
• Identify and escalate contractual risks and commercial exposures impacting delivery.
• Maintain records to support dispute avoidance, closeout, and audits.

Role Overview

AECOM is seeking a Contract & Commercial Lead Wind PMO to oversee contract administration, commercial governance, and claims management activities for utility-scale wind energy projects. The role supports client decision-making on contractual matters, variations, payments, claims, and commercial risks while ensuring compliance with project contracts and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain contract correspondence, notices, change-event logs, variation registers, and commercial records.
• Monitor contractual obligations, claims support documentation, and commercial compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with Planning, QS, construction, and project teams to assess delay events, milestone impacts, logistics constraints, and contractor interfaces.
• Review payment-support documentation and completion evidence for contractual compliance.
• Support the assessment of variations, claims, and commercial matters in line with project governance requirements.
• Identify and escalation contractual risks, commercial exposures, and unresolved issues impacting project delivery.
• Maintain accurate records to support dispute avoidance, contract closeout, and project audits.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
