Job summary

adani capital pvt ltd seeks a Manager - Contract Administration for OC Mines to lead the contract lifecycle, including drafting, review, and approval of terms with contractors and vendors.

You will drive risk assessment, change orders, and ensure compliance with DoA and KPI metrics, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and maintaining MIS and document control using OpenText, SAP and ARIBA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in contract administration.
• Proven track record in managing complex contracts and negotiations.

Job description

Manager - Contract Administration (OC Mines)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contract management policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Review, analyze and interpret contract terms and conditions.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to meet contractual obligations for both contractors and employers.
• Manage change order management, including reviewing contract amendments and deviations.
• Identifying potential risks associated with the contract and assisting risk mitigation strategies Assisting in resolution of issues, disputes, and settlement of claims.
• Define commercial contract performance evaluation criteria and ensure consistency in assessment metrics.
• Perform contract closure activities and conduct post-implementation surveys.
• Report on overall performance trends and provide input on areas for improvement.
• Assist in the review and analysis of contract terms and conditions.
• Oversee MIS and document control, including the preparation, storage, and retrieval of documents in both hard and soft copies using IT platforms like OpenText, SAP and ARIBA.
• Facilitate periodic performance reviews with contractors, ensuring minutes of meetings (MoMs) are documented.
• Prepare MIS reports.
• Assist in the approval of NFA’s as per the Delegation of Authority (DoA).
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance against targets.
• Act as a primary point of contact for all contractor-related inquiries and dispute resolution.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in contract administration to drive continuous improvement.
