Job summary

Mondelēz International seeks an IL6S Lead for Induri (Pune) Plant to drive CI, IL6S principles, and Lean TPM across the shopfloor. You will collect data, validate it, and promote CI progress through KPI scorecards while partnering with plant leadership and engineering teams.

You will train colleagues, facilitate root-cause analyses, and establish new standard work to sustain improvements, embedding visual management and daily leadership routines.

Qualifications

• Strong prior experience in manufacturing/factory operations (production, plant operations, manufacturing, maintenance, or operations leadership roles).
• Working knowledge of IL6S / Manufacturing Excellence / Lean / TPM / Continuous Improvement.
• Proven ability to drive improvements on the shopfloor with line leaders and operators.
• Backgrounds from FMCG, Pharma, Automotive, Chemicals, or large manufacturing setups.

Responsibilities

• Provide training on CI tools and techniques; help departments follow our Daily Management System (DMS).
• Help teams collect data or extract it from the system to support CI activities and the DMS.
• Facilitate root-cause analysis to address identified losses and KPI gaps.
• Establish new work standards to sustain improvement.

Role Overview You play an important role in the department, maintaining systems and performing tasks and activities that support our continuous improvement (CI) processes and culture. You help with data collection, ensure its accuracy, promote CI progress and keep track of the department KPI scorecards. How You Will Contribute

What You Will Bring

• CI and high-performance work systems experience
• Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities
• Application of Lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environment
• Ability to validate data in manual and automated systems
• Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools
• Organized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process
• Logical and structured thinking to extract insights from data

What This Role Is Really About

• Driving Manufacturing Excellence / IL6S as part of day-to-day factory operations
• Working closely with Plant Leadership, Production, Engineering, Quality, and SCM
• Improving productivity, efficiency, cost, safety, and quality through structured problem-solving
• Embedding standard ways of working (daily management, tier meetings, visual management)
• Building capability and ownership on the shopfloor — not managing improvement from a distance

What Kind Of Experience We Are Looking For

Key Note

We are looking for manufacturing leaders with strong, hands-on factory operations experience who have applied or worked with Manufacturing Excellence / IL6S principles as part of their roles. Deep plant operations exposure is essential; formal IL6S or Manufacturing Excellence titles are valuable but not mandatory, provided there is a solid understanding and practical application of these frameworks on the shopfloor. Within Country Relocation support available and for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
