Mondelez India Foods Private Limited seeks a Business Development Manager to drive site strategy, I2M/IIM processes, and end-to-end project execution across our supply chain. You will coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D to deliver new products and renovations at scale.

Ideal candidates bring engineering grounding, extensive hands-on manufacturing experience in a CPG/FMCG environment, and strong commercial acumen to transform and optimize the site roadmap and productivity

You will support theI2M and IIM process for site / cluster and ensureeffective planning and execution ofchange as it relates to new and existing products, packaging and processes for a plant or cluster. At the plant level you will work on change management and innovation management capabilities.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Support Project Development / Execution: Support I2M/IIM (Innovation 2 Market; Initiative Management) within thesite;Provide site AR write ups & prepare critical site inputs to the Regional BD, specifically for IIM DesignReviews (DR2 – DR6); Leads Project Verification (DR7); Design Reviews (DR4) onward lead Plant activities:Master data, Art Work, Raw/Pack Material availability, Track timings – and report to project team. Act asthe source of internal and external information (contact for Commercial stakeholders and is the keyinterface between Category and Engineering / Manufacturing / R&D).Lead site post project evaluationand communication, planning and execution of promotional activities within the I2M process
  • Support Site Strategic Plan / Annual Contract creation: Support the site director in developing the site strategy andplant road map. Be the key partner for Product Supply team on sourcing/capacity expansion – ensure fullintegration of Innovation/Renovation plans in 421 into site supply plans. Partner effectively withEngineering to build the site CAPEX budget. Ensure planning of the capital budget bottom up, includingprioritization (i.e. integration with the full site agenda, specifically alignment of the annual timetable)
  • Drive Ongoing business and Simplification: Integrate overall site change management agenda to ensuredelivery of projects while maintaining service levels. Manage ongoing reprioritization, De-complexityagenda and support the delivery of the site productivity and improvement agenda. Ensure execution ofregional /global menu cards and ensure that manufacturing hurdle rates are met.Support Product supplyfor assessment of manufacturing solutions for current supply and demand gaps in the site
  • Lead, coach and build Capability of the Business development change coordinator(s) within the plant andother Key stakeholders.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who brings a strong technical and engineering foundation, hands-on manufacturing experience, and the business mindset to drive transformation and step changes across our supply chain network.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and business strategy — driving end-to-end delivery of innovation and renovation initiatives from concept through commercialization. The ideal candidate is a technically grounded leader who can leverage deep knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain to unlock growth, challenge the status quo, and deliver meaningful change at scale.

What you need to know about this position:

Strategic Planning

  • Partner with site leadership to develop and execute the site strategy and plant roadmap, integrating innovation and renovation plans into long-term supply plans
  • Provide strategic thought leadership through scenario brainstorming, identification of project interdependencies, best practice sharing, and structured output review with senior stakeholders
  • Serve as the key interface between Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to align priorities and drive decisions
  • Support the development of the site CAPEX budget in partnership with Engineering, ensuring bottom-up capital planning and prioritization

Innovation & Commercialization (I2M / IIM)

  • Own and drive the Innovation-to-Market (I2M) and Initiative & Innovation Management (IIM) process at the site
  • Lead Site IIM Pillar. Ensure project verification and design reviews (DR4–DR7), ensuring all site readiness milestones are met
  • Ensure effective planning and execution of change as it relates to new and existing products, packaging, and processes

Project Execution & Governance

  • Drive consistency and quality in project execution using appropriate methodologies and tools (e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma, Agile, Stage-Gate)
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource plans
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks; escalateto leaders as needed
  • Provide regular project reporting and status updates through scorecards, status reports, and stakeholder review meetings
  • Confirm project completion, quality, and readiness to go live

Business Simplification & Productivity

  • Collaborate across functions to continuously improve processes, deliver productivity, and support new product commercialization
  • Support delivery of the site productivity and continuous improvement agenda

Stakeholder Management

  • Own relationships with x-functional teams within and outside site
  • Manage and influence stakeholders from tactical execution level through governance meeting

We are looking for a technically strong leader — ideally with an engineering background and manufacturing experience — who combines operational depth with the commercial acumen


What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Technical or engineering degree(or equivalent experience) with a strong foundation in manufacturing, process engineering, or supply chain operations
  • Significant hands-on manufacturing experiencein a CPG or FMCG environment — with a deep understanding of plant operations, process improvement, and technical problem-solving
  • Proven experience insupply chain operations, program/project management, or strategy
  • Demonstrated experience incommercializing new products or innovations— from pipeline development through to launch execution
  • Track record ofdriving transformation and step-change improvements— not just incremental gains — through cross-functional collaboration and strategic execution
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing processes, including commercialization (I2M or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with capital budgeting, resource planning, and financial aspects of project delivery

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge ofTPM (Total Productive Maintenance), 5S, LEAN, and Six Sigmatools and methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Stage-Gate, Agile, MS Project, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights — including scenario modeling and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of relevant business processes and supporting technology solutions (ERP, MES, etc.)

Leadership & Mindset

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) — able to engage effectively from shop floor to executive steering committee
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to positively influence decision-making across functions and levels
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to excel in leading tactical, hands-on programs
